Ladies, its really no big deal. I had my colposcopy on march 20th, yes i was nervous and yes its undignified with your legs in the air, but it really it was like having a smear only it lasted a little longer, and when the Dr took the biopsys it did nip but a nip was all it was. Then it was over! My advise is, take someone with you to drive you home, i drove myself 25miles but would have liked to be able to relax. And if you can, take the following day off work, i went to work but wished i was at home with my feet up. If i have to have any additional treatment i will book the next day off and have some pain releif at home ready for the period like pains. I had a few days of discharge, but nothing a little panty liner couldnt handle. Really, dont be scared, and dont put it off. No big deal!
