Franca said on 25January 2012 I had a Mirena fitted 4 month ago because I suffering from heavy periods. I started to have problems after 10 minutes I had a Mirena fitted. I was feeling faint and I was very sweaty, I stayed in that condition for nearly one hour. the GP told me that was normal. The situation did not improve much afterwards because I suffered from so many side effects: vaginal discharge, headache, nausea, cramps, back pain, breast pain, acne, decreased libido, depressed mood, hair loss, eczema and rash. I had the Mirena removed last week as I'd had enough! I did some research on the internet before I had Mirena removed. There are many websites that you can go to have better information before you decide on a Mirena to avoid my experience.
