Our daughter Lucy is very, very poorly. She has slept constantly for the last 9 weeks, we wake her for food and the toilet but she is only semi-conscious, she hasn't opened her eyes or been able to speak, she is in considerable pain. She has been diagnosed with extreme severe CFS/ME. There is no cure. She was healthy and no reasons have been found for her illness. The onset of her illness coincided with the day she had the HPV jab but we are re-assured that it is sheer coincidence. The NHS Choices website is an excellent website for providing good factual information on this matter – see the following page: http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/HPV-vaccination/Pages/Side-effects.aspx or Google ‘NHS Choices Cervarix Medicine Guide’. You can then make an informed decision about the suitability of this vaccine for your daughter.
