In response to the question about anyone else getting a nasty virus after the flu jab, I too had this problem this year. I do have a medical condition which means that my immune system is already greatly impaired so I was not surprised I got so sick. I would suggest that it's not the flu jab itself that makes you get sick with a cold, but the fact that whilst your body is dealing with the jab, your immune system becomes slightly weakened (even if you are fit and healthy) and this makes you more prone to getting a virus. Each year viruses mutate and become more aggressive so if your immune system is slightly impaired because of the jab you would potentially feel more sick with a virus. I hope this helps!!
