I'm 15 and was diagnosed with scoliosis only today. It was quite scary at first when my mum noticed that my spine curved the side, but after speaking with my GP and getting a proper diagnosis i feel a lot better. i don't think my curvature is that severe, as it's not completely noticeable under clothes, and i only experience minor back pain. As yet i haven't been to speak with a specialist, but i have put a referral through to have some physiotherapy. i hope this helps and i won't need surgery, but i suppose even that's better than any future problems that may occur. Wish me luck :)
