Sarah00, No you haven't been conned! The pharmacist was right, it is cheaper to buy it without the prescription. Canestan Duo on prescription costs £14.40 (two £7.20 charges are taken as there are two different products in the one box). The same goes for Champix (pills to help smokers quit). There are two different strengths of the pill in Champix so two prescription charges are taken. :)
