Seven hours at your desk can equal two stiff shoulders and one bad back. Here are five tips to keep your spine healthy.

1. Look after your back at work

2. Eat well
According to the charity, BackCare, it may help your back to eat a healthy diet and drink enough water. It's been suggested that drinking water is important to keep the intervertebral discs hydrated.

3. Watch your posture
If you spend a lot of time sitting down, take care to check that your posture is correct and take regular breaks to walk around and stretch out.

4. Lose weight
If your waistline is suffering from a few too many doughnuts it can put a huge strain on your spine. Losing weight will reduce the pain.

5. Make a splash
