To be successful, Change4Life faces the challenge of getting families to change their lifestyles. We work with national partners, including commercial brands, government departments and NGOs, to reach far more people than we could alone. Many of these brands can talk to our audience in ways that we can’t - and we can use this to help influence people’s behaviour.

British Gas is supporting Change4Life by co-branding with Change4Life as often as possible to demonstrate their commitment to creating a better, healthier world.

As part of this, in 2009 British Gas featured the Change4Life logo on a national roadside poster campaign worth over £240,000 in value. It also branded Swim4Life on an offer of a free swim to all 12 million British Gas customers and on the Free Swim webpage which attracted an average of 20,000 visitors per week.

As the proud principal partner of British Swimming (including the ASA, Scottish Swimming and Swim Wales), British Gas shares the Change4Life goal of giving as many people as possible the chance to learn to swim and to use swimming as part of a healthy lifestyle.

This is not just about supporting the British Swimming teams' quest for medals on the world and Olympic stages - it is about nurturing and supporting swimming at every opportunity. From paddling pool to podium, British Gas is supporting Change4Life through branding opportunities to increase campaign awareness overall.
