Making a Change4Life doesn’t need to be difficult. With a little help, it can be really rewarding and fun! Here are some suggestions for small, easy, steps you can make to help put you and your family happily on your way.

Banana

1. Slice
and enjoy it as a dessert, served with a spoonful of low-fat yogurt, a small drizzle of honey and a handful of raisins. Or add it to your breakfast cereal.
2. Mash
On wholemeal toast.
3. Drink
blend into smoothies or mixed with orange juice.
4. Open
dried banana chips are an ideal snack when you’re on the go, sweet and crunchy.
5. Bake
wrap in foil and bake at 180ºC or gas mark 4 for 20 minutes, then serve with low-fat yogurt for a tasty dessert.
6. Snack
peel and enjoy.
7. Freeze
peel and push onto a lolly stick, then re-wrap in its peel, freeze and enjoy as you would an ice cream.
