Make a Change4Life

Making a Change4Life doesn’t need to be difficult. With a little help, it can be really rewarding and fun! Here are some suggestions for small, easy, steps you can make to help put you and your family happily on your way.

Here are some great ways to Change4Life. Try them all!

Apple

1. Dip
chopped apple in yogurt, with a small drizzle of honey.
2. Chop
mix with raisins, carrot or whatever takes their fancy.
3. Juice
unsweetened natural apple juice counts as 1 of their 5 A DAY. 100% juice in cartons is fine as long it doesn’t have added sugar and is labelled apple juice, not ’apple flavour drink’.
4. Snack
on chopped apple straight from the bowl. Dried apple added to cereals, porridge or eaten with a few raisins for a tasty sweet treat.
5. Bake it
try baked apple rings. De-core your apple and slice into rings, sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 180ºC or gas mark 4 for 15 to 20 minutes.
6. Stew
stewed apples make a delicious dessert, serve with low-fat yogurt.
